Artificial intelligence (AI) describes today’s computer systems that perform tasks normally needing human intelligence, such as writing, analysis and assistants, while superintelligence (SI) describes hypothetical AI that would surpass human intelligence across virtually every domain, from science and strategy to creativity. Superintelligence is trending in 2026 because a US executive order of 29 September 2026 directs federal agencies to say “Super Intelligence” instead of “Artificial Intelligence” in official materials, and on 4 October 2026 Elon Musk said SpaceX’s AI unit, formerly xAI, will be renamed SpaceXSI. The order keeps the existing legal definition of AI, so the change is mainly one of terminology.

An AI agent is software built on a large language model that receives a goal, plans the steps, uses tools such as web search, email, spreadsheets or other applications, checks the results and continues until the task is done, usually with a human approving important actions. Designing safe, useful AI agents is part of Mahdi’s consultancy work.

Agentic AI is AI that acts instead of only answering: a chatbot replies to one message at a time, while an agentic system can break a goal into steps, call tools, remember context and complete multi-step work such as research, reporting or customer follow-up, within the limits and approvals that people set. Mahdi explains these tools in his AI workshops.

A bot follows fixed rules or scripts to repeat a simple task, a chatbot holds a conversation and answers questions, often with AI, and an AI agent goes further by planning and carrying out multi-step tasks with tools, so the three differ mainly in how much judgment and independent action they have. Businesses often combine all three in their automation solutions.

Businesses can use AI agents safely by starting with one small, well-defined process, giving the agent only the data and tools it needs, keeping a human in the loop to approve sensitive actions, logging every step and measuring results before expanding to more processes. Mahdi advises organizations on this kind of guided adoption.

Business process automation means using software to run repeatable business tasks, such as data entry, approvals, invoicing, reporting, email follow-ups and customer onboarding, automatically and consistently, so teams spend less time on manual work and more on decisions, service and growth; adding AI lets automations also read documents and draft replies. It is a core part of Mahdi’s consultancy.

n8n is a workflow automation platform where you connect apps and services as visual nodes, so a trigger such as a new email, form entry or schedule starts a chain of actions like updating a spreadsheet, calling an AI model or sending a message, without writing a full application. Similar tools follow the same trigger-and-action idea, and Mahdi designs such automations for businesses.

The best processes to automate first are frequent, rule-based and time-consuming tasks with clear inputs and outputs, such as lead capture, appointment reminders, invoice processing, report generation and routing customer requests, because they deliver quick, measurable savings with low risk and teach the team how automation works.
